What is an Adverb?
An adverb modifies a verb, adjective, or another adverb. It often tells us how, when, where, or to what extent something happens. Many adverbs end in -ly.
Types of Adverbs
Adverb of Manner
Tells how something happens. Often formed by adding -ly to an adjective.
She speaks English fluently.
He runs quickly.
The stone monkey leaped into the waterfall without hesitation.

Tells where something happens: here, there, outside, upstairs.

Tells how often: always, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, never.
I usually drink coffee in the morning.
