2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: create and manage your account; synchronize your learning progress across devices; provide and improve our learning content; detect, prevent and address technical or security issues; and respond to your questions. We do not use your personal information for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.

3. Google Sign-In Data and Limited Use

When you sign in with Google, CGLingo only requests basic profile information (email address, name and profile picture) and never reads your emails, files, contacts or any other Google services. CGLingo's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate this website (for example, cloud hosting, storage and content delivery providers), and only to the extent necessary to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Data Storage and Retention

Your information is stored on secured servers operated by us or our hosting providers. We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, or your account stays inactive for a long period, we delete or anonymize the related personal data within 30 days, except where a longer retention period is required by law.

The reading materials provided on this platform are mainly derived from classic literary works that have entered the public domain, with expired copyright protection. Vocabulary definitions and translations are generated with AI technologies and are for learning reference only.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS). However, please note that no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

CGLingo is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
