Chapter 3: The Creature's Loneliness

見捨てられ、完全に孤独になったその生き物は荒野をさまよい、極度の孤立と混乱を経験しました。彼の知性と学習能力にもかかわらず、彼の怪異な外見は行く先々で恐怖と敵意を引き起こしました。

Abandoned and utterly alone, the creature wandered through the wilderness, experiencing extreme isolation and confusion. Despite his intelligence and capacity for learning, his monstrous appearance provoked terror and hostility wherever he went.

村人たちは石や武器で彼を攻撃し、彼に隠れて絶え間ない恐怖の中で生きることを強制しました。この荒涼とした存在の中で、彼は貧しい家族が住む小さな小屋を発見し、密かに彼らの日常生活を観察し、彼らの交流を通じて徐々に言語、感情、社会的習慣を学びました。

Villagers attacked him with stones and weapons, forcing him to live in secrecy and constant fear. In this desolate existence, he discovered a small cottage occupied by a poor family and secretly observed their daily life, gradually learning language, emotions, and social customs through their interactions.

その生き物はつながりと理解への深い憧れを抱きましたが、恐怖と暴力的な拒絶を引き起こすことなく人間に近づくことができず、疎外感の中に閉じ込められたままでした。この深い孤立感は、最終的に絶望的で破壊的な行動へとつながることになります。

The creature developed a profound longing for connection and understanding, yet remained trapped in his alienation, unable to approach humans without triggering fear and violent rejection. This deep sense of isolation would eventually lead to desperate and destructive actions.
