Chapter 17: Life in Old Age

時が経ち、周進と范進も晩年に入りました。彼らは人生の大部分を官界で過ごし、豊富な経験と知恵を蓄積しました。

Time passed, and Zhou Jin and Fan Jin also entered old age. They had spent most of their lives in officialdom, accumulating rich experience and wisdom.

Although Fan Jin did not have as relaxed a life as Zhou Jin in the capital, he also found his own value. He used his experience to guide young officials and help them better fulfill their responsibilities.
