第20章：任務完了

Chapter 20: Mission Accomplished

4人は本当の経典を持って長安に戻りました。長安の人々は、三蔵法師が経典を取りに行って戻ってきたと聞き、次々と歓迎に出てきました。太宗皇帝は個人的に城から出て彼らを歓迎し、4人のために盛大な歓迎式典を行いました。

The four returned to Chang'an with the true scriptures. The people of Chang'an heard that Tang Sanzang had returned from fetching the scriptures and came out to welcome them one after another. Emperor Taizong personally came out of the city to welcome them and held a grand welcome ceremony for the four.

三蔵法師は太宗皇帝に本当の経典を提示し、経典を取りに行く旅の苦労について話しました。太宗皇帝は非常に感動し、4人のために寺院を建て、彼らが晩年を平和に楽しむことができるようにしました。

Tang Sanzang presented the true scriptures to Emperor Taizong and told him about the hardships on the journey to fetch the scriptures. Emperor Taizong was very moved and built temples for the four of them, allowing them to enjoy their later years in peace.

孫悟空、猪八戒、沙悟浄は皆悟りを開き、羅漢（らかん）となりました。三蔵法師は仏陀によって栴檀功徳仏（せんだんくどくぶつ）という称号を与えられました。4人はついに功徳をもって任務を完了し、それぞれが自分の目的地に戻りました。

Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing all achieved enlightenment and became Arhats. Tang Sanzang was titled by the Buddha as the Sandalwood Merit Buddha. The four finally completed their mission with merit and each returned to their own destination.
