第13章：女護国

Chapter 13: The Kingdom of Women

4人は西梁女国に到着しました。この国には女性しかおらず、男性はいませんでした。彼らが三蔵法師を見ると、皆彼のハンサムな容姿に驚嘆し、彼に王として留まってほしいと思いました。

The four of them arrived at the Western Liang Kingdom of Women. This country had only women, no men. When they saw Tang Sanzang, they all marveled at his handsome appearance and wanted him to stay as their king.

女王は個人的に城から出てきて三蔵法師を歓迎し、彼との結婚さえ提案しました。三蔵法師は経典を取りに行くことに集中していたので、もちろん同意しませんでした。しかし、女王は固執し、三蔵法師を引き留めることを主張しました。

The Queen personally came out of the city to welcome Tang Sanzang and even proposed to marry him. Tang Sanzang was focused on fetching the scriptures and of course would not agree. But the Queen persisted and insisted on keeping Tang Sanzang.

孫悟空は賢い計画を思いつきました。彼は三蔵法師に女王の結婚の提案に同意するふりをさせ、それから通過するための旅行書類を求めさせました。旅行書類を手に入れたら、彼らは女護国を去ることができました。女王はそれが本当だと信じ、喜んで4人を通らせました。

Sun Wukong came up with a clever plan. He had Tang Sanzang pretend to agree to the Queen's marriage proposal, and then ask for a travel document to pass through. Once they got the travel document, they could leave the Kingdom of Women. The Queen believed it was true and happily let the four of them pass.
