Chapter 7: The White Dragon Horse

師匠と弟子は大きな川まで歩いて行きましたが、水が急すぎて渡ることができないことに気づきました。突然、邪悪な龍が川から飛び出し、巨大な口を開けて三蔵法師を食べようとしました。孫悟空は勇敢に前に出て、金の棒を使って邪悪な龍と戦いました。

The master and disciple walked to a large river and found the water was too rapid to cross. Suddenly, an evil dragon rushed out of the river, opening its huge mouth to eat Tang Sanzang. Sun Wukong stepped forward bravely and fought with the evil dragon using his golden rod.

邪悪な龍は孫悟空の敵ではなく、すぐに敗北しました。観音は間に合って到着し、その龍は東海龍王の皇太子であり、過ちを犯したために人間界に追放されたのだと龍に言いました。観音は魔法を使って邪悪な龍を白い馬に変え、三蔵法師の乗り物として仕えるようにしました。

The evil dragon was no match for Sun Wukong and was soon defeated. Guanyin arrived in time and told the dragon that it was the crown prince of the Dragon King of the East Sea and had been banished to the human world for making mistakes. Guanyin used magic to turn the evil dragon into a white horse to serve as Tang Sanzang's mount.

それ以来、三蔵法師は白龍馬に乗り、孫悟空が先頭に立って道案内をしました。師匠と弟子は西への旅を続け、経典を取りに行くさらに長い道のりに乗り出しました。

From then on, Tang Sanzang rode the white dragon horse, and Sun Wukong led the way in front. The master and disciple continued their journey west, embarking on an even longer road to fetch the scriptures.
