Years passed, and Cathy and Hareton built a happy life together. They had children, who grew up in the two houses, running between Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange, enjoying the freedom of the moors.

ディーン夫人は年老い、子供たちが遊ぶのを見守りながら、過去の暗い日々を思い出していた。彼女は彼らに先祖の話をしたが、最も暗い時期でさえ生き残った愛と勇気という、良い部分に焦点を当てた。

Mrs. Dean grew old and watched the children play, remembering the dark days of the past. She told them stories about their ancestors, but she focused on the good parts, the love and courage that had survived even in the darkest times.

The children were fascinated by the stories of Heathcliff and Catherine, but they did not understand the darkness of those tales. To them, these were just stories from the past, like fairy tales, with no connection to their own happy lives.

Cathy and Hareton made sure their children were well-educated. They did not want them to suffer as Hareton had suffered, denied the opportunity to learn and grow. The children went to the best schools and learned about the world beyond the moors.

Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange were no longer dark, unhappy places. They were filled with light and laughter, with children's voices and the warmth of family. The old stories of ghosts and revenge were forgotten, replaced by new stories of love and hope.

Mrs. Dean often thought about Catherine and Heathcliff. She wondered what they would think if they could see how the houses had changed. Would they be angry, or would they be glad that the suffering had ended?

She liked to think that they would be glad. That Catherine, who had loved so passionately, would be happy to see that her daughter's children were living with love and peace. And that Heathcliff, who had suffered so much, would finally find peace in knowing that the cycle of hatred was broken.

嵐が丘の遺産はもはや復讐と破壊のものではなかった。それは今や愛と希望の遺産であり、世代から世代へと受け継がれ、年を追うごとに強くなっていった。

The legacy of Wuthering Heights was no longer one of revenge and destruction. It was now a legacy of love and hope, passed down from generation to generation, growing stronger with each passing year.
