Chapter 6: The Monk Tang

500年後、観音菩薩が五行山に来て、誰かがここを通り過ぎる限り、彼は自由を取り戻すことができると孫悟空に言いました。案の定、三蔵法師という僧侶が山に到着しました。三蔵法師は親切な僧侶で、観音に導かれ、聖なる経典を得るために西天へ旅をしていました。

Five hundred years later, Bodhisattva Guanyin came to the Five Elements Mountain and told Sun Wukong that as long as someone passed by here, he could regain his freedom. Sure enough, a monk named Tang Sanzang arrived at the mountain. Tang Sanzang was a kind monk who, guided by Guanyin, was traveling to the Western Heaven to obtain sacred scriptures.

孫悟空が山の下に閉じ込められているのを見て、三蔵法師は心に同情を感じました。彼は山の封印を解きました。孫悟空は自由を取り戻し、涙を流して感動しました。彼は三蔵法師を師匠とし、経典を取りに西天へ同行することを決心しました。

Seeing Sun Wukong trapped under the mountain, Tang Sanzang felt compassion in his heart. He removed the seal on the mountain. Sun Wukong regained his freedom and was moved to tears. He decided to take Tang Sanzang as his master and accompany him to the Western Heaven to fetch the scriptures.

師匠と弟子は経典を得るための旅に出ました。途中、彼らは様々な悪魔や怪物に遭遇しましたが、孫悟空は魔法の力で三蔵法師を守りました。孫悟空の性格は時々いたずら好きでしたが、三蔵法師はいつも彼に辛抱強く教えました。

The master and disciple set out on their journey to obtain the scriptures. Along the way, they encountered various demons and monsters, but Sun Wukong protected Tang Sanzang with his magical powers. Although Sun Wukong's character was sometimes naughty, Tang Sanzang always patiently taught him.
