第12章：寻求帮助
With no other options, Emma decided to ask Rodolphe for money. She still believed that he had loved her once, and she hoped that he would help her in her time of need. She traveled to his estate, her heart pounding with anxiety.
没有其他选择，艾玛决定向罗多夫要钱。她仍然相信他曾经爱过她，并希望他在她需要的时候帮助她。她去他的庄园，她的心因焦虑而剧烈跳动。
Rodolphe was cold and distant. He remembered Emma fondly but had no intention of lending her money. He made excuses about his own financial difficulties and refused to help her. Emma was devastated by his rejection.
