第2章：罪恶的念头
Raskolnikov heard about a pawnbroker's news. This pawnbroker was an old woman who was greedy and harsh to people who borrowed money. Raskolnikov believed that killing this old woman and taking her money could help many poor people.
拉斯科尔尼科夫听说了一个当铺老板娘的消息。这个老板娘是一位老妇人，性格贪婪，对借钱的人非常苛刻。拉斯科尔尼科夫认为，杀了这个老妇人，拿走她的钱，就能帮助很多穷人。
He repeatedly thought about this idea and felt it was the right thing to do. He believed that great figures like Napoleon could also kill for higher goals.
