Chapter 5: My Hometown Friends
第五章：故乡的朋友
Mother told me that many old friends had come. They came to help us move and also to see me.
母亲告诉我，很多旧时的朋友都来了。他们来帮忙搬家，也来看看我。
I walked into the house and saw several old villagers. Some I knew, others I didn't remember anymore. When they saw me, they were very happy, saying that I had grown up and become an adult.
我走进屋子里，看到几个老乡亲。他们有的我认识，有的我已经不记得了。他们看到我，都很高兴，说我都长大了，变成大人了。
I smiled and said, "I haven't seen you all for so many years, and you've all gotten old too." They nodded and said everyone gets old, time passes too quickly.
我笑着说，这么多年没见，大家也老了。他们点点头，说人都会老的，时间过得太快。
We talked about things from the past. They still remembered how I looked as a child, remembered the scenes of me playing with Run Tu. I also remembered some past events, feeling warm in my heart.
我们聊起过去的事情。他们还记得我小时候的样子，记得我和闰土一起玩耍的情景。我也记起了一些往事，心里感到很温暖。
But I also saw the wrinkles on their faces and the patches on their clothes. Their lives, it seemed, were not easy.
但是，我也看到了他们脸上的皱纹，看到了他们衣服上的补丁。他们的生活，看来并不容易。
