Abandoned and utterly alone, the creature wandered through the wilderness, experiencing extreme isolation and confusion. Despite his intelligence and capacity for learning, his monstrous appearance provoked terror and hostility wherever he went.

In this desolate existence, he discovered a small cottage occupied by a poor family and secretly observed their daily life, gradually learning language, emotions, and social customs through their interactions.
