Chapter 19: Legacy and Hope

As the children grew up, I began to think about how to pass my life experience on to them. I hope they can learn from my experiences and avoid making mistakes I once made. I told the children that no matter what difficulties they encounter, do not give up hope. I hope they can keep a kind heart, stick to their principles, and bravely face the challenges of life.

Watching the children grow into adults, I felt extremely gratified. They inherited Agnes's kindness and wisdom, as well as my indomitable spirit. I believe they will have a better future than ours. My hope is that they will face life with open eyes, see its beauty and pain, and still choose to create more beauty than pain for the world.
