After the battle at Jinshan Temple, Xu Xian managed to escape and made his way back to Hangzhou. He was confused, frightened, and overwhelmed by everything that had happened. As he reached the Broken Bridge, where he had first met Bai Suzhen, he saw her sitting by the water, looking pale and exhausted.

For now, she cherished every second they had together, knowing that their happiness was a fragile gift. They spent their days in quiet reflection, preparing for the child that would soon be born, a symbol of their love that transcended the boundaries of spirits and mortals.
