Unexpectedly, this woman was actually the Jade Rabbit Spirit in disguise. She wanted to trick Tang Sanzang into coming to her cave and eat him. Sun Wukong saw through her scheme and fought with her fiercely. The Jade Rabbit Spirit escaped to the Moon Palace, where the Fairy Chang'e subdued her.

The king was very happy and wanted to arrange a marriage between Tang Sanzang and the princess. But Tang Sanzang was focused on fetching the scriptures and politely declined.
