Chapter 20: Mission Accomplished

The four returned to Chang'an with the true scriptures. The people of Chang'an heard that Tang Sanzang had returned from fetching the scriptures and came out to welcome them one after another. Emperor Taizong personally came out of the city to welcome them and held a grand welcome ceremony for the four.
Четверо вернулись в Чанъань с настоящими писаниями. Жители Чанъаня услышали, что Тан Саньцзан вернулся после получения писаний, и вышли приветствовать их один за другим. Император Тайцзун лично вышел из города, чтобы поприветствовать их, и устроил грандиозную церемонию приветствия для четверых.
Tang Sanzang presented the true scriptures to Emperor Taizong and told him about the hardships on the journey to fetch the scriptures. Emperor Taizong was very moved and built temples for the four of them, allowing them to enjoy their later years in peace.

Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing all achieved enlightenment and became Arhats. Tang Sanzang was titled by the Buddha as the Sandalwood Merit Buddha. The four finally completed their mission with merit and each returned to their own destination.
Сунь Укун, Чжу Бацзе и Ша Уцзин достигли просветления и стали архатами. Тан Саньцзан получил от Будды титул Будды Заслуг Сандалового Дерева. Четверо наконец с честью выполнили свою миссию, и каждый вернулся к своему предназначению.
