By the Wei River, an old man sat fishing with a straight hook. His name was Jiang Ziya, and though he appeared to be a simple fisherman, he was actually a master of the mystical arts. For years, he had waited by the river, knowing that his time would come.

One day, a young nobleman named Ji Fa came hunting in the area. He was the son of Ji Chang and had heard stories of the wise fisherman by the river. Curious about the old man who used a straight hook, Ji Fa approached and began to converse with him.

His appointment marked the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the realm, one that would lead to the great war and the eventual establishment of the Zhou Dynasty.
