Capítulo 3: A noite do assassinato
On a hot summer night, Raskolnikov came to the pawnshop. He attacked the old woman with an axe and killed her. Just as he was about to leave, the old woman's sister Lizaveta suddenly entered.
Em uma noite quente de verão, Raskólnikov foi à casa de penhores. Ele atacou a velha com um machado e a matou. Justo quando ele estava prestes a sair, a irmã da velha, Lizaveta, de repente entrou.
Lizaveta saw this scene, and Raskolnikov had to kill her too. He took some belongings and fled the scene in panic.
Lizaveta viu essa cena e Raskólnikov teve que matá-la também. Ele pegou alguns pertences e fugiu da cena em pânico.
This was Raskolnikov's first time killing someone. His heart was filled with fear and guilt. But he still believed that what he did was correct.
