Chapter 20: Mission Accomplished
Capítulo 20: Missão Cumprida
The four returned to Chang'an with the true scriptures. The people of Chang'an heard that Tang Sanzang had returned from fetching the scriptures and came out to welcome them one after another. Emperor Taizong personally came out of the city to welcome them and held a grand welcome ceremony for the four.
Os quatro voltaram para Chang'an com as escrituras verdadeiras. Os cidadãos de Chang'an ouviram que Tang Sanzang havia retornado após obter as escrituras e saíram para recebê-los um por um. O Imperador Taizong saiu pessoalmente da cidade para recebê-los e realizou uma grande cerimônia de boas-vindas para os quatro.
Tang Sanzang presented the true scriptures to Emperor Taizong and told him about the hardships on the journey to fetch the scriptures. Emperor Taizong was very moved and built temples for the four of them, allowing them to enjoy their later years in peace.
Tang Sanzang apresentou as escrituras verdadeiras ao Imperador Taizong e contou-lhe sobre as dificuldades no caminho para obter as escrituras. O Imperador Taizong ficou muito emocionado e construiu templos para eles, permitindo que desfrutassem da velhice em paz.
Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing all achieved enlightenment and became Arhats. Tang Sanzang was titled by the Buddha as the Sandalwood Merit Buddha. The four finally completed their mission with merit and each returned to their own destination.
Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie e Sha Wujing alcançaram a iluminação e se tornaram Arhats. Tang Sanzang recebeu o título de Buda do Mérito do Sândalo de Buda. Os quatro finalmente completaram sua missão com honra, e cada um retornou ao seu destino.
