The four of them arrived at the Western Liang Kingdom of Women. This country had only women, no men. When they saw Tang Sanzang, they all marveled at his handsome appearance and wanted him to stay as their king.
Os quatro chegaram a uma terra misteriosa — o Reino das Mulheres. Neste país não havia homens, e todos os habitantes eram mulheres. A rainha do Reino das Mulheres se apaixonou por Tang Sanzang à primeira vista e queria se casar com ele e torná-lo rei.
The Queen personally came out of the city to welcome Tang Sanzang and even proposed to marry him. Tang Sanzang was focused on fetching the scriptures and of course would not agree. But the Queen persisted and insisted on keeping Tang Sanzang.
Tang Sanzang estava focado em obter as escrituras e não se comoveu com a beleza e a riqueza. Ele recusou educadamente a rainha, mas a rainha não queria deixá-lo ir. Sun Wukong pensou em um plano: fingir concordar para obter os documentos de viagem e depois aproveitar a oportunidade para escapar.
Sun Wukong came up with a clever plan. He had Tang Sanzang pretend to agree to the Queen's marriage proposal, and then ask for a travel document to pass through. Once they got the travel document, they could leave the Kingdom of Women. The Queen believed it was true and happily let the four of them pass.
