제1장: 도원결의
At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the imperial court was corrupt, and the world fell into chaos. The Yellow Turban Rebellion swept across the entire country, and regional warlords carved out their territories. People were displaced and homeless. In this turbulent era, the destinies of three heroes were about to intertwine.
동한 말기, 조정은 부패했고 천하는 혼乱에 빠졌다. 황건적의 난이 전국을 휩쓸었고, 지방 군벌들은 각자의 영토를 차지했다. 백성들은 쫓겨나고 집을 잃었다. 이 격動의 시대에 세 영웅의 운명이 얽히게 되었다.
Liu Bei was a descendant of the Han imperial family. Although from a poor background, he harbored great ambitions. He hoped to restore the Han Dynasty and save the common people. However, he only had two sworn brothers by his side, with limited power.
유비는 한나라 황실의 후손이었다. 비록 가난한 집안 출신이었지만, 그는 큰 야망을 품고 있었다. 그는 한나라를 부흥시키고 백성들을 구하기를 희망했다. 하지만 그에게는 의형제 두 명뿐이었고, 힘은 미약했다.
Guan Yu was a warrior with exceptional martial arts skills. Standing nine feet tall, with a face like a red date, he wielded the Green Dragon Crescent Blade and rode the Red Hare horse, appearing majestic. His righteousness was renowned throughout the land, earning him the title "Saint of War."
관우는 뛰어난 무예 실력을 갖춘 전사였다. 키가 9척이나 되고 얼굴은 붉은 대추와 같았으며, 청룡언월도를 휘두르고 적토마를 타고 위엄 있게 나타났다. 그의 의로움은 온 나라에 알려져 "무성(武聖)"이라는 칭호를 얻었다.
Zhang Fei had a leopard-like head and round eyes, with a forthright and generous personality. He wielded a serpent spear and was brave and skilled in battle. Although his temper was irritable, he was incomparably loyal to his brothers and dared to fight any enemy.
장비는 표범 같은 머리와 둥근 눈을 가졌으며, 솔직하고 寛大한 성격이었다. 그는 장팔사모를 휘두르며 용감하고 전투에 능했다. 비록 성격은 급했지만, 형제들에게 비할 데 없이 충성스러웠고 어떤 적과도 감히 싸웠다.
The three swore an oath in the Peach Garden, pledging to live and die together and serve the Han Dynasty together. This oath became their lifelong belief and marked the beginning of the Three Kingdoms era.
세 사람은 도원에서 결의를 맺고, 함께 살고 함께 죽으며 한나라에 봉사할 것을 맹세했다. 이 맹세는 그들의 평생 신념이 되었고 삼국 시대의 시작을 알렸다.
From that day on, Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei fought side by side through countless battles. Their friendship and loyalty became a story praised by later generations.
