Chapter 20: Mission Accomplished
제20장: 임무 완수
The four returned to Chang'an with the true scriptures. The people of Chang'an heard that Tang Sanzang had returned from fetching the scriptures and came out to welcome them one after another. Emperor Taizong personally came out of the city to welcome them and held a grand welcome ceremony for the four.
네 사람은 진짜 불경을 가지고 장안으로 돌아왔습니다. 장안 사람들은 당삼장이 불경을 구해 돌아왔다는 소식을 듣고 잇달아 환영하러 나왔습니다. 당 태종은 직접 성 밖으로 나와 그들을 맞이하고 성대한 환영식을 열었습니다.
Tang Sanzang presented the true scriptures to Emperor Taizong and told him about the hardships on the journey to fetch the scriptures. Emperor Taizong was very moved and built temples for the four of them, allowing them to enjoy their later years in peace.
당삼장은 당 태종에게 진짜 불경을 바치고 불경을 구하는 여정의 고난에 대해 이야기했습니다. 당 태종은 매우 감동하여 네 사람을 위해 절을 짓고 노년을 편안하게 보내도록 했습니다.
Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing all achieved enlightenment and became Arhats. Tang Sanzang was titled by the Buddha as the Sandalwood Merit Buddha. The four finally completed their mission with merit and each returned to their own destination.
손오공, 저팔계, 사오정은 모두 깨달음을 얻고 나한이 되었습니다. 당삼장은 부처님으로부터 전단공덕불이라는 칭호를 받았습니다. 네 사람은 마침내 공덕으로 임무를 완수하고 각자의 위치로 돌아갔습니다.
