Chapter 13: The Kingdom of Women
제13장: 여인국
The four of them arrived at the Western Liang Kingdom of Women. This country had only women, no men. When they saw Tang Sanzang, they all marveled at his handsome appearance and wanted him to stay as their king.
네 사람은 서량녀국에 도착했습니다. 이 나라에는 여자만 있고 남자는 없었습니다. 그들이 당삼장을 보았을 때 모두 그의 잘생긴 외모에 감탄하며 그를 왕으로 모시려 했습니다.
The Queen personally came out of the city to welcome Tang Sanzang and even proposed to marry him. Tang Sanzang was focused on fetching the scriptures and of course would not agree. But the Queen persisted and insisted on keeping Tang Sanzang.
여왕이 직접 성 밖으로 나와 당삼장을 환영하고 심지어 그에게 청혼까지 했습니다. 당삼장은 불경을 구하는 데 전념하고 있었으므로 당연히 동의하지 않았습니다. 그러나 여왕은 끈질기게 당삼장을 붙잡으려 했습니다.
Sun Wukong came up with a clever plan. He had Tang Sanzang pretend to agree to the Queen's marriage proposal, and then ask for a travel document to pass through. Once they got the travel document, they could leave the Kingdom of Women. The Queen believed it was true and happily let the four of them pass.
손오공은 기발한 계획을 생각해 냈습니다. 그는 당삼장에게 여왕의 청혼에 동의하는 척하고 통행증을 요구하게 했습니다. 통행증을 얻으면 여인국을 떠날 수 있었습니다. 여왕은 그것이 사실인 줄 알고 기쁘게 네 사람을 통과시켜 주었습니다.
