Chapter 7: Married Life
第7章：結婚生活
Eventually, Dora and I got married. The wedding was simple but joyful. However, married life proved to be very different from what I had imagined. Dora was completely incapable of managing a household. She couldn't cook, clean, or even make basic decisions about our daily life.
最終的に、ドラと私は結婚しました。結婚式はシンプルでしたが楽しいものでした。しかし、結婚生活は私が想像していたものとは大きく異なっていました。ドラは家計を管理することがまったくできませんでした。彼女は料理も掃除もできず、日常生活に関する基本的な決定を下すことさえできませんでした。
Despite these challenges, I still loved Dora deeply. She was kind-hearted and tried her best to make me happy, even if her best wasn't enough for the practical demands of married life. We learned to laugh about our difficulties and find happiness in our love for each other, imperfect though it was.
これらの課題にもかかわらず、私はまだドラを深く愛していました。彼女は心優しく、私を幸せにするために最善を尽くしましたが、彼女の最善は結婚生活の実際的な要求には十分ではありませんでした。私たちは自分たちの困難を笑い飛ばし、不完全であってもお互いへの愛の中に幸せを見つけることを学びました。
