With this new understanding, I began to see my past in a different light. I realized that Agnes had always been there for me—supporting me when I was struggling, advising me when I was confused, and rejoicing with me when I succeeded. She had been my constant anchor through all of life's storms.
Avec cette nouvelle compréhension, j'ai commencé à voir mon passé sous un jour différent. I also reflected on other important relationships in my life. Mr. Peggotty and his family had shown me unconditional love and loyalty. Even after all the pain Emily had caused them, they forgave her. This taught me about the power of family love and forgiveness. This trip made me grow a lot through the experiences of the past few years. I was no longer the confused young man, but a person with clear goals and firm beliefs, ready to face a new stage of life.
J'ai également réfléchi à d'autres relations importantes dans ma vie. M. Peggotty et sa famille m'avaient montré un amour inconditionnel et une loyauté. Même après toute la douleur qu'Emily leur avait causée, ils lui ont pardonné. Cela m'a appris le pouvoir de l'amour familial et du pardon.
