As I grew older, I faced new challenges. One of the most difficult was the revelation about Agnes's father, Mr. Wickfield. Uriah Heep, a clerk in Mr. Wickfield's office, was slowly taking control of Mr. Wickfield's business. Uriah was a slimy, deceitful man who pretended to be humble but was actually very ambitious and dishonest.

During this period, I also had to deal with my feelings for Dora. Dora was beautiful and charming, but rather spoiled and childish. Despite knowing we had very little in common, I fell deeply in love with her. The combination of personal and professional problems made this period of my life quite challenging.
Pendant cette période, j'ai également dû faire face à mes sentiments pour Dora. Dora était belle et charmante, mais plutôt gâtée et enfantine. Bien que sachant que nous avions très peu en commun, je suis tombé profondément amoureux d'elle.
