Chapitre 1 : Lin Chong au Temple de la Montagne
Lin Chong was exiled to Cangzhou and assigned to work guarding the fodder storage. It was a cold winter with heavy snow falling. Lin Chong lived in the mountain temple and guarded the fodder every day.

Lin Chong quietly walked out of the temple and saw that the fodder storage was really on fire. Those people were holding torches and setting fire. Lin Chong was very angry. He thought: "These bad people harmed me once, and now they come to harm me again."
Lin Chong est sorti silencieusement du temple et a vu que le dépôt de fourrage était vraiment en feu. Ces gens tenaient des torches et mettaient le feu. Lin Chong était très en colère. Il a pensé : « Ces méchants m'ont fait du mal une fois, et maintenant ils viennent me faire du mal à nouveau. »
Lin Chong picked up his weapon and rushed out. He fought with those people and finally defeated them all.
Lin Chong a pris son arme et s'est précipité dehors. Il s'est battu avec ces gens et les a finalement tous vaincus.
Lin Chong knew that he could not live in Cangzhou anymore, so he decided to go to Liangshan Marsh. There were many people like him there, all of whom were wrongly accused by the court.
Lin Chong savait qu'il ne pouvait plus vivre à Cangzhou, alors il a décidé d'aller au marais de Liangshan. Il y avait beaucoup de gens comme lui là-bas, tous accusés à tort par la cour.
