Chapitre 16 : La Crête du Lion-Chameau
The four of them arrived at the Lion-Camel Ridge. Three demons lived there: the Lion Spirit, the Elephant Spirit, and the Roc Spirit. They heard that eating Tang Sanzang's flesh could grant eternal life and decided to capture him.
Les quatre arrivèrent à la Crête du Lion-Chameau. Trois démons y vivaient : l'Esprit Lion, l'Esprit Éléphant et l'Esprit Roc. Ils entendirent dire que manger la chair de Tang Sanzang pouvait accorder la vie éternelle et décidèrent de le capturer.
The three demons joined forces to attack the four of them. Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing were captured, and Tang Sanzang was also caught. Sun Wukong fought desperately, but the enemies were too powerful. He could only go to ask the Buddha for help.

The Buddha came to the Lion-Camel Ridge with the Bodhisattvas Manjusri and Samantabhadra. They subdued the three demons. It turned out that the Lion Spirit was Manjusri's mount, the Elephant Spirit was Samantabhadra's mount, and the Roc Spirit was the Buddha's uncle. Sun Wukong rescued his master and brothers and continued their journey west.
Le Bouddha vint à la Crête du Lion-Chameau avec les Bodhisattvas Manjusri et Samantabhadra. Ils soumirent les trois démons.
