Chapitre 13 : Le Royaume des Femmes
The four of them arrived at the Western Liang Kingdom of Women. This country had only women, no men. When they saw Tang Sanzang, they all marveled at his handsome appearance and wanted him to stay as their king.
Les quatre arrivèrent au Royaume des Femmes de Liang Occidental. Ce pays n'avait que des femmes, pas d'hommes. Quand elles virent Tang Sanzang, elles s'émerveillèrent toutes de sa belle apparence et voulurent qu'il reste comme leur roi.
The Queen personally came out of the city to welcome Tang Sanzang and even proposed to marry him. Tang Sanzang was focused on fetching the scriptures and of course would not agree. But the Queen persisted and insisted on keeping Tang Sanzang.
La Reine sortit personnellement de la ville pour accueillir Tang Sanzang et proposa même de l'épouser. Tang Sanzang se concentrait sur la recherche des écritures et n'accepterait bien sûr pas. Mais la Reine persista et insista pour garder Tang Sanzang.
Sun Wukong came up with a clever plan. He had Tang Sanzang pretend to agree to the Queen's marriage proposal, and then ask for a travel document to pass through. Once they got the travel document, they could leave the Kingdom of Women. The Queen believed it was true and happily let the four of them pass.
Sun Wukong eut un plan intelligent. Il fit semblant que Tang Sanzang acceptait la proposition de mariage de la Reine, puis demanda un document de voyage pour passer. Une fois qu'ils eurent le document de voyage, ils purent quitter le Royaume des Femmes. La Reine crut que c'était vrai et laissa joyeusement passer les quatre.
