Chapitre 6 : Le Moine Tang
Five hundred years later, Bodhisattva Guanyin came to the Five Elements Mountain and told Sun Wukong that as long as someone passed by here, he could regain his freedom. Sure enough, a monk named Tang Sanzang arrived at the mountain. Tang Sanzang was a kind monk who, guided by Guanyin, was traveling to the Western Heaven to obtain sacred scriptures.
Cinq cents ans plus tard, le Bodhisattva Guanyin vint à la Montagne des Cinq Éléments et dit à Sun Wukong qu'il pourrait retrouver sa liberté tant que quelqu'un passerait par là. Effectivement, un moine nommé Tang Sanzang arriva à la montagne. Tang Sanzang était un moine bienveillant qui, guidé par Guanyin, voyageait vers le Ciel de l'Ouest pour obtenir des écritures sacrées.
Seeing Sun Wukong trapped under the mountain, Tang Sanzang felt compassion in his heart. He removed the seal on the mountain. Sun Wukong regained his freedom and was moved to tears. He decided to take Tang Sanzang as his master and accompany him to the Western Heaven to fetch the scriptures.
Voyant Sun Wukong piégé sous la montagne, Tang Sanzang ressentit de la compassion dans son cœur. Il retira le sceau sur la montagne. Sun Wukong retrouva sa liberté et fut ému aux larmes. The master and disciple set out on their journey to obtain the scriptures. Along the way, they encountered various demons and monsters, but Sun Wukong protected Tang Sanzang with his magical powers. Although Sun Wukong's character was sometimes naughty, Tang Sanzang always patiently taught him.
Le maître et le disciple partirent en voyage pour obtenir les écritures. En chemin, ils rencontrèrent divers démons et monstres, mais Sun Wukong protégea Tang Sanzang avec ses pouvoirs magiques. Bien que le caractère de Sun Wukong fût parfois espiègle, Tang Sanzang lui enseigna toujours patiemment.
