Il vola donc et mangea beaucoup de pêches, et provoqua également le chaos lors du Festival des Pêches. L'Empereur de Jade fut très en colère lorsqu'il l'apprit et envoya le dieu Erlang Shen Yang Jian pour le capturer.
Erlang Shen was highly skilled in martial arts and fought with Sun Wukong, and neither could win. The Jade Emperor ordered the Supreme Lord Lao to use his Diamond Circle to attack Sun Wukong from behind, knocking him to the ground. Sun Wukong was caught by the heavenly soldiers and tied to the Execution Platform.
Erlang Shen était très doué en arts martiaux et combattit avec Sun Wukong, et aucun des deux ne put gagner. L'Empereur de Jade ordonna au Seigneur Suprême Lao d'utiliser son Cercle de Diamant pour attaquer Sun Wukong par derrière, le jetant au sol. Sun Wukong fut capturé par les soldats célestes et attaché à la Plateforme d'Exécution.
However, Sun Wukong had already eaten the immortal peaches, so ordinary punishments could not kill him at all. The Jade Emperor had to press him under the Five Elements Mountain to make him reflect on his mistakes. For five hundred years, he remained trapped there.
