Capítulo 17: Gratitud
As the years went by, I increasingly understood gratitude. I thanked those who helped me when I was in difficulty, and thanked those who guided me when I was confused. Without them, I could not have reached where I am today. I also thanked those who had hurt me, because they made me stronger. Every setback made me grow, and every failure taught me a lesson.
Con el paso de los años, comprendí cada vez más la gratitud. Agradecí a los que me ayudaron cuando estuve en dificultades, y agradecí a los que me guiaron cuando estaba confundido. Sin ellos, no podría haber llegado a donde estoy hoy. También agradecí a los que me habían lastimado, porque me hicieron más fuerte. Cada revés me hizo crecer, y cada fracaso me enseñó una lección.
Most importantly, I thanked life itself. Although there are pains and difficulties in life, every day is a gift from heaven. I hope to use my life to do meaningful things and repay everything this world has given me. I hope my children can also understand this and live according to this principle.
Lo más importante, agradecí a la vida misma. Aunque hay dolores y dificultades en la vida, cada día es un regalo del cielo. Espero usar mi vida para hacer cosas significativas y devolver todo lo que este mundo me ha dado. Espero que mis hijos también puedan entender esto y vivir de acuerdo con este principio.
