Chapter 5: My Hometown Friends
Capítulo 5: Amigos de la Ciudad Natal
Mother told me that many old friends had come. They came to help us move and also to see me.
Madre me dijo que muchos viejos amigos habían venido. Vinieron a ayudarnos a mudarnos y también a verme.
I walked into the house and saw several old villagers. Some I knew, others I didn't remember anymore. When they saw me, they were very happy, saying that I had grown up and become an adult.
Entré en la casa y vi a varios viejos aldeanos. A algunos los conocía, a otros ya no los recordaba. Cuando me vieron, se pusieron muy contentos, diciendo que había crecido y me había convertido en un adulto.
I smiled and said, "I haven't seen you all for so many years, and you've all gotten old too." They nodded and said everyone gets old, time passes too quickly.
Sonreí y dije: "No los he visto a todos en tantos años, y todos ustedes también han envejecido". Asintieron y dijeron que todos envejecen, el tiempo pasa demasiado rápido.
We talked about things from the past. They still remembered how I looked as a child, remembered the scenes of me playing with Run Tu. I also remembered some past events, feeling warm in my heart.
Hablamos de cosas del pasado. Todavía recordaban cómo me veía de niño, recordaban las escenas de mí jugando con Run Tu. También recordé algunos eventos pasados, sintiendo calidez en mi corazón.
But I also saw the wrinkles on their faces and the patches on their clothes. Their lives, it seemed, were not easy.
Pero también vi las arrugas en sus rostros y los parches en su ropa. Sus vidas, al parecer, no eran fáciles.
