What is a Pronoun?
A pronoun takes the place of a noun so we don't have to repeat it. There are many types: personal, possessive, reflexive, demonstrative, indefinite, interrogative, and relative pronouns.
Types of Pronouns
Personal Pronoun
Refers to specific people or things: I, you, he, she, it, we, they, me, him, her, us, them.
She is my sister.
They invited us to the party.
She told him that she would never marry him.

Reflexive Pronoun

Points to specific things: this, that, these, those.
This is my favorite song.
Indefinite Pronoun
Refers to non-specific people or things: someone, anybody, nothing, everything, all, some.
Someone is at the door.
Everything is fine.
Interrogative Pronoun
Used to ask questions: who, whom, whose, which, what.
Who is that man?
What do you want?
Relative Pronoun
Connects a clause to a noun: who, whom, whose, which, that.
The woman who called you is my aunt.
