What is a Preposition?

A preposition links a noun or pronoun to another word, showing time, place, direction, or other relationships. Common prepositions: in, on, at, by, for, with, about.

Show when something happens: at (specific time), on (days/dates), in (months/years/seasons).

I wake up at 7 a.m.

She was born on March 5th.

We go skiing in winter.
