Chapter 6: Sonya's Help
By chance, Raskolnikov met Sonya. Sonya was a young girl who was forced to sell herself to support her family. Her life was very difficult, but she still kept a kind heart.
Raskolnikov felt sympathy for Sonya's situation and began to realize his own sin. Sonya told him that only through repentance could one obtain redemption.
Under Sonya's influence, Raskolnikov's thoughts began to change. He began to consider surrendering.
