Chapter 11: The Pain of Return
Anna and Vronsky returned to Russia and lived in Vronsky's country estate. Although they lived a relatively peaceful life, Anna felt isolated by society. Her friends and family no longer interacted with her, which made her feel very lonely.
Vronsky's family also didn't accept Anna and showed coldness towards her. Vronsky was caught between Anna and his family, feeling very awkward.
Anna became more sensitive and suspicious. She often suspected whether Vronsky still loved her. This insecurity made her emotions very unstable.
