Chapter 9: The Decision to Leave
Anna decided to leave Karenin and live with Vronsky. This decision was very difficult because she knew it meant giving up her son and social status.
Vronsky encouraged Anna to pursue true love and promised to always accompany her. Anna was moved by Vronsky's sincerity and decided to bravely face the future.
Karenin tried to keep Anna. He was willing to forgive her mistakes and hoped she could return to the family for her son's sake. But Anna's heart already belonged to Vronsky, and she couldn't return to her past life.
